Georgetown University to host conference on Making Latin America and the Caribbean a More Equitable Society
Washington: (Monday, March 12, 2012) The Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs in collaboration with the US Department of Commerce and Georgetown University are going to sponsor a two-day conference (March 12-13) on “Making Latin
America and the Caribbean a More Equitable Society: Education, Economic Growth, and Corporate Social Responsibility” at Georgetown University campus.
A press briefing issued by US department of state, while briefing about the goals and objectives of the conference, stated, “The international conference will bring together leaders from throughout the Western Hemisphere to share
strategies and jointly design a road map to create prosperity in the region through education for workforce development.”
The speakers of the event include government officials, academia, civil society, businessmen and representatives of international organizations.
