Peshawar: (Tuesday, March 13, 2012) Peshawar High Court today asked the interior and defence ministries to submit their detailed replies in the missing persons’ case.
Proceeding with the case, Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Mian Mulk heard the case.
During today’s hearing, the court was informed about Amjad and Saeed who went missing in 2009 from Machni police station. The petitioner claimed that Javed – one of the police personnel appointed at the said police station also
went missing with Amjad and Saeed, but he was recovered later on.
In today’s proceeding, the court has summoned the police official Javed in next hearing and has also sought explanation from interior and defence ministries.
The court has also summoned the commanding officer Malakand Fort seeking reply about another missing person Safdar Ali from Mardan.
