David Haye and Vitali Klitschko ready to rumble!

Former WBA world heavyweight world champion, David Haye, has recently claimed that Vitali Klitschko, the current WBC heavyweight world champion, has finally agreed to fight him and people will get to see what they want, perhaps some time in summer.

“Vitali has just finally agreed to fight me in a live RTL interview!!! He told me I will be his next fight!! Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!!!” Haye said.

The 31-year-old brash Londoner, who is more commonly known as the Hayemaker, not too long ago had an ugly brawl with his fellow countryman, Dereck Chisora, former British heavyweight champion, in Munich, Germany.

The brawl occurred in Chisora-Vitali post-fight press conference after Haye all of a sudden appeared and started calling out Vitali for a fight.

Chisora on several occasions had remarked that he will slap Haye whenever he sees him. Therefore, Vitali believes whatever Haye did was right because he had no options.

“I understand David Haye had to defend himself. It’s not just street fighting. It’s very important to have respect,” Vitali commented.

The 6 ft 7 in Ukrainian giant, commonly known as ‘Dr. Ironfist’, also confirmed that he has offered a fight to Haye.

“I have offered Dave Haye the opportunity to fight for the world title. I need Haye to say ‘yes,’” said Vitali Klitschko in a recent interview.

Well, all said and done, Haye still has doubts in his mind. The pugilist reckons Vitali’s team will not let this fight get real since they know he can beat their man in the ring and it will cost them a lot of money.

Haye remarked, “There is so much riding on his political career, he wants to fight guys like Dereck Chisora, who he can guarantee a victory over. Fighting me is not in his interests. The word in Ukraine is that his people cannot afford for him to lose against me, or not knock me out, as he has told the Ukrainian people he will do what his brother could not do and knock me out.”

The President of World Boxing Council, Jose Sulaiman, recently insisted that he will not let Haye fight Vitali but this news has once again created a buzz among the fans. So let’s see if Haye and Vitali fight each other.
