He sees a bright future of the soon-to-become company. His confidence in Mark Zuckerberg’s organization is shown by his investment in FB’s stake; he owns about $40 million in Facebook. He thinks that Facebook will be able to reach the estimated $100 Billion net valuation after the initial public offering, anticipated to be announced in the summers.
“It’s become such a pervasively used thing I feel like they’d really have to stumble to make it really not worth that,” Clark said.
Social media network, according to Clark is the next big thing on the internet, though he also thinks that it is still catching up on its feet in the overly populated internet. He has also invested in Twitter, around $30 Million worth of private stock. However, he says Twitter still needs to figure out a way to generate revenues.
If Facebook does reach the $100 billion mark, expect Clark, who also has 40,000 bottles of Burgundy wine and a vast art collection, to be on our list of billionaires for many years to come.
The 67-year-old father of a newborn baby girl is taking things a bit easier these days, spending his time on his yacht, Athena, writing code and programming all things Apple.
