Time for the youth to wake up from its deep slumber

Nearly the entire world is of the opinion that Pakistan is a failed state that is beyond repair. Things are completely out of control in the country, be it unemployment, inflation, load-shedding or terrorism. It seems as if the very land is on fire. Little
do people realize but there is a very simple solution to keep Pakistan from sinking deeper into the ocean and enabling to keep on sailing. The solution is to wake up the youth who seem to be fast asleep.

It is widely believed that once the blood of the youth starts boiling, there is no stopping them from reshaping the entire world. Pakistan is just a small country with majority of its problems already identified. All that is required is to begin the troubleshooting
process. That is where the youth comes in.

The energy that youth possesses needs to be channelled in the right direction. It is capable of crumbling the very foundations that protects the evil in the society. Once the passion to make a difference in the country is realized, the youth is unstoppable.

The blood of youth is already boiling, but unfortunately for a set of different reasons altogether. The primary focus of the people who are capable of bringing about a change is fixated on setting new records, which may range from the number of girlfriends
to completely domination of their peers in online games.

The youth is not bothered about what is going on in Swat or Balochistan, but is instead excited about the latest Glow package from Warid or busy discussing the outrageous and unforgivable breach of Maya Khan’s invasion in the privacy of the young ones.

The youth needs to wake up and face the real issues instead of getting distracted by non-issues. Entertainment is essential, but the main focus should be on saving Pakistan. The country is under attack, with the terrorists, politicians, gangs and foreign
elements joining forces to try and rip the country to shreds.

It is up to the youth to take a stand for a country that was created through the determination and sacrifices of millions!
