Bollywood superstar Amir Khan has recently turned 47 and on her birthday press conference the star said many things about Vidya Balan, who is the talk of the town right now. The actor insisted he would love to work with Vidya, if he gets a chance.

“I have not watched her film, but I have heard very nice things about her and about her good work,” Aamir said.

“Yes I would love to work with her,” Aamir said in reply to a question.

The 33-year-old actor, Balan, last year, left everyone spellbound with her magnificent performance in Milan Luthria’s film ‘The Dirty Picture’, for which she also bagged a National Award.

‘The Dirty Picture’ was a female-centric film and since Bollywood is male oriented industry, many thought the success of the film was just a fluke. However, Balan has now proved everyone wrong because her recently released film ‘Kahaani’ has also been declared as a hit and it was yet another female-centric film.

Balan’s steady success at the Box Office and being a bit different from others has made her one of the most favorite actresses in the industry. So much so that people have started comparing her with Aamir Khan for being a perfectionist in work.

Nevertheless, Aamir believes people should not compare Vidya with him, as he insisted he doesn’t think of himself as a big star.

He concluded, “I think, we should call Vidyaji by her name only. I like her as Vidya only. Who am I that she is being given my name?”

Aamir Khan will be seen on the Silver screen in his upcoming movie ‘Talaash’, which is one of the most eagerly awaited films of this year.

Originally ‘Talaash’, which has been directed by Reema Kagti’, was to be released on June 1 but now the psychological thriller will hit the cinemas on November 30, 2012. Therefore, Aamir was also asked about the reason for the film’s delay.

“We faced a major setback when the fire broke out on the sets in Madh Island. We had to rebuild the entire set. As a result, Satyamev Jayate has been delayed,” said Aamir.

“Talaash is a special film for all of us including Farhan (Akhtar), Ritesh (Sidhwani) and Reema (Kagti). After my TV show’s delay, we discussed the matter and felt that we should give the film the clear window that it deserves. Now, we might release Talaash on November 30 or December 7,” explains Aamir.
