The new iPad Dilemma: It loves me … it loves me not – Part 5
Thursday, March 15th, 2012 5:53:55 by Usman KhalidCertainly, the new iPad is an attractive device and will be a fix in the market for years to come but as compared to Android, it is on another planet. For those who finally are planning to bail on Android, should do, that’s my advice. But going directly to the new one iPad would cost you money.
The iPad 2 is still the winner against the slew of latest Android slates. Therefore, the best option to enter the Apple club is to get used to its product and iPad 2 is an attractive connoisseurs.
On the ending note, I am going to state the price factor in case someone wants to dump the older iPads and buy the new one. Those who have the original iPad, forget about the resale. There are some cheaper tablets in the market that offer the same iPad (2010) feature—maybe a little less but negligible—for $199, for instance. They might get a little cushion to buy a new one but they would have to break out the wallet with $450 cash at least. Finally those who have the iPad 2 should quickly sell them because the Androids are catching up and there might not even be a $100 value to their slates in the second half of calendar 2012 when Microsoft launches Windows 8 on tablets.
