Missing American citizen in our custody: Ayman al-Zawahiri
Dubai: Al Qaeda’s new chief Ayman al Zawahiri has claimed that the American citizen who went missing in Lahore is in custody of his organization.
In a ten-minute long speech uploaded on al-Qaeda’s website, Zawahiri said that unless their demands were met, Al Qaeda was not to release the elderly American development expert that was captured last August.
Airing his organization’s demands, which also included the release of Aafia Siddiqui – the Pakistani doctor in prison of the US, to release the American Jew Warren Weinstein, Zawahiri said, “By the grace of Allah, we, on our part,
have captured the American Jew Warren Weinstein.
“He will not return to his family, by the will of Allah, until our demands are met, which include the release of Aafia Siddiqui, Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, the family of Shaikh Osama bin Laden, and every single person arrested on
allegations of links with Al Qaeda and Taliban.”
