Ali Zafar truly happy with the success of ‘London, Paris, New York’
Saturday, March 17th, 2012 5:27:57 by Imran Shaukat KhanThe Pakistani starlet, Ali Zafar, is on a cloud nine these days since his recently released movie with Aditi Rao Hydari, ‘London, Paris, New York’, has done well at the Box Office. Though the film couldn’t live up to the expectations because of the unexpected performance of Irfan Khan’s ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, Ali is pretty satisfied with the turnout of his film.
‘London, Paris, New York’, which was released March 2, 2012, did well on the opening day but later on suffered a bit due to ‘Paan Singh Tomar’s’ unexpected box office performance but Ali says the movie has done a great job for him and he is pretty satisfied with the results.
Ali told Daily Times, “I’m more than satisfied with how the movie has turned out. Just the way I imagined and wanted it to be. Its box office collections are more than what I hoped for. I’ve never ever wanted to go back in time for anything, so there, I’m truly happy with it.”
In ‘London, Paris, New York’, Ali Zafar, for the first time in his career, did a kissing screen with Aditi Rao and since he is a Pakistani actor, he was asked about it. The actor claimed that the scenes in the movie were shot in extremely aesthetic and careful manner and he would never want to do anything to offend his nation.
The actor remarked, “There wasn’t any sleazy or vulgar scene at all in the film. However, what small intimate scenes were there, have been shot in an extremely aesthetic and careful manner.”
In the end Zafar was also asked about the controversial Pakistani actress, Veena Malik, who is in India as well for the shooting of her films.
Veena has always locked headlines for wrong reasons and she has several things to offend the Pakistani people as well, including her ‘nude’ photo shoot for the FHM India.
Ali said he won’t comment on Veena, as he thinks she has the rights to exercise her freedom.
He stated, “Everyone has their own freewill and freedom to exercise their talents whichever way they’d feel best. I don’t think I’m anyone to comment over somebody’s decisions.”
