Is Kareena Kapoor jealous of Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan?

Bollywood’s ultimate diva, Kareena Kapoor, is the highest earning female star in the industry at this point in time, reportedly she demanded INR80 million for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’, but it feels as if she is still not happy with her status and the amount of money she gets.
Kareena has insisted that the male actors like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan always takes away all the money and they leave nothing for the female actresses. She further added that female actresses are in the industry just there to dance.
“I don’t think I’m a hero because all the films like 3 Idiots, RA.One and Bodyguard that made INR1 billion to INR1.5 billion, their producers and all the three Khans took home the money. What am I left with? ‘Chammak Challo’?” she said at the India Today Conclave 2012 here on Friday.
“[In Bollywood] it’s always between three or four Khans or other male actors. I guess female actors are there for just dancing with them. We have to stand behind Shah Rukh and Salman (Khan) and say, ‘Hey! I’m here too, give me something to do.’ And the pay cheques, what Salman gets and what I get… let’s not even get there,” said Kareena.
In the end, when Kareena was asked about her upcoming film ‘Heroine’, she said she is happy because at least this time she will not be with Shahrukh or Salman.
“I am giving it my very best. And for a change it is fun not standing behind or beside Shah Rukh or Salman,” she quipped.
The above mentioned statements clearly show that how much jealous Kareena is from the superstars of the industry.
Well, all said and done, perhaps Kareena has now forgotten that the top spot which she has today is only because of these ‘Khans’, as otherwise she never did so well at the Box Office.
Almost everyone out there knows that ‘3 idiots’ became a hit because of Aamir Khan, ‘Ra.One’ because of Shahrukh Khan and ‘Bodyguard’ because of Salman Khan. So, I guess instead of eyeing the ‘super Khans’, Kareena should be happy with what she has today.

What an idiotic article! This “reporter”??? obviously lives under a rock. Jealous? Of the Khans? Geez, what an idiot!! What Kareena Kapoor actually meant to say is that in this day and age, it’s time for heroines to do more than just dance since they are as, if not more, capable than their male counterparts. And inequality (which seems the only way that males somehow seem to control females (since whatever females try their hand at – they do better than the males)) needs to stop in an archaic system that is Bollywood.

I agree with diva, Kareena is just stating a fact. She never said that the Khan’s should leave the industry, just that they walk away with the bigger pay check. She was stating a fact.

I second Diva. This report is not what Kareena meant during her speech at India-Today. I have watched the whole session and I am really glad for how she answered all the questions with so much honesty and humbleness. She truly is the numero uno of Bollywood.
@All… Ok ok I agree my bad but do you really think Kareena has gained this position without Khans???? Come on >>>? Ra.One, Bodyguard, 3 Idiot… who made these films a hit ? It’s a well known fact … she is good and I don’t want to take anything away from her but the most profitable actress in the industry ??? I don’t agree … her recent movie ‘Ek main aur ek tu’ ? how much did it earn ? Anyways like I said ‘Opinion’ is my own…
