Saif Ali Khan says it is tough to make Sriram Raghavan happy
Monday, March 19th, 2012 5:50:06 by Imran Shaukat KhanBollywood’s heart-throb, Saif Ali Khan, who will be seen playing a lead role in one of the most eagerly awaited films of this year, ‘Agent Vinod’, has insisted that it isn’t easy to please Sriram Raghavan but on the same not the actor said he is glad the director is happy with the final product.
Saif has already worked with Raghavan in ‘Ek Hasina Thi’ back in 2004 and therefore he knows Raghavan very well.
He said, “I think we have made an entertaining film. Sriram (Raghavan) is sitting there and reading the ‘Agent Vinod’ comic magazine. I just asked him how are you feeling and he said he is very happy.”
“It is tough to make him happy and if he is happy then it’s great,” said Saif.
‘Agent Vinod’ has a simple storyline, in which an Indian spy dies while accomplishing a mission overseas but before dying he sends a message back to the headquarters suggesting something wrong.
Nevertheless, to complete the character’s requirement, Saif did shooting in several countries and he thinks the scenes in the film will entertain the audiences a lot.
“A roller-coaster ride starts where ‘Agent Vinod’ travels from Moscow to Riga, then Morocco, Pakistan, and then India, London and Cape Town. So he takes an adventurous ride and then finally avoids a big nuclear catastrophe in New Delhi. I am very happy with the way we have shot in Delhi,” the 41-year-old said here in an interview.
“We have shot in big national capitals, but the way we shot Delhi, we all would be very proud of it. It is a splendid city with political happenings,” he added.
‘Agent Vinod’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on March 23, 2012, will feature Saif playing a lead role opposite to her real life girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor, which is one of the reasons behind the enormous hype of the movie.
Well, all said and done, let’s see if ‘Agent Vinod’ lives up to the expectations.
