Jump Street offers rowdy mainstream comedy with a surprisingly satisfying bite.”
Tom Long of the Detroit News gave it a score of B- and stated, “"21" makes clear from the beginning it is gobbling up some pop culture refuse in the name of nothing more than making fun of it and having fun with it.”
William Goss from the Film.com praised the movie by saying, “The whole crew makes clear its affections for action cinema, trashy television and the YouTube generation alike while having fun at the expense of all three.”
Metro Times’ top film critic, Corey Hall, also gave it a rating of B- and declared, “It’s immature, rude and sometimes quite funny, at least until the same gag makes a fourth or fifth lap around the track.”
All in all, 21 Jump Street is a must watch for everyone.
