Apple product designs: Is the company losing its taste or saving the rabbit in the hat – Part 5
Wednesday, March 21st, 2012 6:42:03 by Usman KhalidBoth iPhone 4S and the new iPad have the newest iOS version, 5; the iPad has the updated version 5.1 which is available on both iPhone 4 and 4S as well. The iOS 5, on the other hand is a major upgrade to iOS 4 that came with iPhone 4. It has a lot of new feature including the integration of iCloud, Apple’s clouding service. However, if you look closely, the user interface is not much of an upgrade. That is because the basic design still works wonders for the company and they do not really need to change it to make way for a learning curve.
Apple has always thrived on the aesthetics of the operating system. The ease-of-use and simple and sleek style are some of the features that they provide to the customers, in addition to the security. Moreover, in the category of smartphone and tablet, Apple has a vast and more capable applications pool that everyone from Apple faithful to a new customer can count on.
And when you surf the Net via 4G LTE instead of 3G on your new third-generation iPad, you will also see a difference in performance.
These “internal” changes really are significant to the performance and experience delivered by the devices. And that will likely matter more to people than changing the shape of the outer casing that can only go as far to show off and retain bargaining rights.
