Jacqueline Fernandez: Sex should not be forced into the Bollywood movies

The Sri Lankan actress and model, Jacqueline Fernandez, who did a lot of steamy scenes with Emraan Hashmi in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Murder 2’, which was released last year on July 8, 2011, has insisted that she is not going to do anymore sex scenes from now onwards unless or until they are central to the script and character.

The 26-year-old, who won the Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006, stated that almost every Indian movie these days comes up with a steamy scene in it even when it is not needed. Though the actor said she is not closed to the steamy scenes, she said she will not do them without a strong reason.

She said, “I am not closed to kissing scenes or wearing skimpy clothes. But, it should not be forced into the movie, just for the heck of it. The role or the dresses should not make me feel uncomfortable.”

Jacqueline added,”I have definitely set limitations on what is acceptable to me..if the lip-lock or a certain dressing style is central to the script and character, then I am open to doing it. Lot of movies have sex scenes these days that look like they have been forced, and it makes you cringe when you see them. I don’t want that to be the case when someone is watching my movie,”

This year Jacqueline will be seen in ‘Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen’, ‘Race 2’, ‘Total Dhamaal’, ‘Pravegaya’ and ‘Definition of Fear’.

Jacqueline was also a part of ‘Krrish 3’ before she opted out of the film. Rumors revolving around suggested that perhaps the actor didn’t want to do a kissing scene with Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. Nevertheless, when asker, the actor rejected all reports.

“I thought that it was an unbelievable role, but I guess everything happens for the best. It was mutual understanding between the director and me. It had nothing to do with me not wanting to kiss Hrithik Roshan,” she concluded.
