Munter calls upon Khar; discusses Pak-US relations

Islamabad: (Thursday, March 22, 2012) US ambassador to Pakistan, Cameron Munter called upon Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar here today.

According to the sources, issues related to Pakistan-US relations and mutual interests came under discussion.

Sources claimed that the meeting also embarked upon the recent developments like the suggestions forwarded by the Pakistani parliamentary panel, the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS), regarding US-Pakistan foreign
policy, which called for an unconditional apology from the US.

During the discussion, foreign minister reiterated the fact that only parliament was to make decision on the matters related to US-Pakistan ties and on the NATO supply line resumption.
