Islamabad: (Monday, March 26, 2012) Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) after expressing a submissive attitude before the Pakistan Peoples’ Party, has finally decided to take sides with the common people of Pakistan as it has
announced to protest the prolonged loadshedding with the people.
Protests will simultaneously begin in all capitals of provinces including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar on March 31 according to the statement issued by the party’s secretary general Iqbal Zafar Jhagra.
Protests will also be held in Abbotabad, Sialkot, Sahiwal and Hyderabad on April 03 along with Multan, Kasur, Sheikhapura and DI Khan.
The party has blocked April 04 to hold protests in Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Karak and Sargodha. In cities like D.G. Khan, Gujrat and Okara protests will begin on April 05.
Earlier, while announcing that the PML-N league was ready to go for another long march, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the federal government was treating Punjab like a step-mother.
Sharif also said that his party will support traders in their protests against the loadshedding as it was causing the people to lose their jobs.
Meanwhile, as the unscheduled loadshedding continued today, it erupted protests in Lahore and Faisalabad.
