The new iPad 2012 Camera Connection Kit: Photos exchange and more from tablet – Part 1
Monday, March 26th, 2012 4:59:53 by Usman KhalidThe new iPad 2012 was released to the market nine days ago, and new tweaks are already out for the iOS 5.1 that the iPad adorns. With a slew of new apps and features that the device comes with, more applications are in the making and will be pouring in soon to take advantage of the mesmerizing real estate of the tablet. However, for the time being the new couple of adaptors that come with the device are enough to keep you fiddling with the iPad 2012.
The new adaptors come under the head of Camera Connection Kit to take the advantage of the astonishing 5-mega pixel camera that has a five lens kit. It also captures 1080p video in addition to the 720p quality churned out by the front facing 0.3-mega pixel camera.
The kit is basically designed for the swift exchange of videos and photos from cameras, smartphones and other portable devices including iOS gadgets. The new iPhoto app in the iOS 5.1 has made photo editing even easier on the go. Moreover, with help of an internet connection, the user can upload the photos to Facebook and clouding services like Dropbox.
The $29 kit comes with two components: a USB adapter and an SD card adapter. Like its name implies, the intended use of these adapters is to transfer media from your camera to your iPad. But after a little tinkering, it’s clear that these dongles can be used for much more.
