To grow, or not to grow, that is the question

There has been a long debate on whether a man looks good with long hair or short. A huge majority characterises short hair with decency and neatness, whereas long hair is associated with people who are untidy, carefree and at times rowdy.
It does not make a lot of sense to judge a man on the length of his hair. It is simply a matter of preference. Some people feel more comfortable with long hair, which serves to give them confidence that enables them to deal with everyday situations. They
fail to see how long hair has anything to do with their decency and find such judgements absurd. They begin to tie their hair at times to keep if from failing on their face, something that tends to give them a pretty decent look.
On the other hand, a child begins to get lectured about keeping hair short from a very young age. Parents take their children for a haircut quite frequently and if the parents turn out to be indifferent, the school teachers force the kid into get his hair
cut short.
Failing to keep their hair long during their teenage years due to the pressure put on them by their parents and teachers, a person decides to grow his hair long after he becomes independent.
Many people begin to mock him, telling him that he looks hideous in long hair and that maybe it is time to get a hair. The same pressure that kept him from keeping long hair during school life and at times college life returns to deprive him of his wish
even after he becomes independent.
It is best to ignore what the people say and go for whatever the heart says. Long hair neither makes a person untidy, not makes him look rowdy if the hair is well kept, shampooed regularly. The failure to keep good care of one’s hair ends up making a person
look like a hobo.
