Mahesh Bhatt: Sex is an important component in every industry now

The prominent Indian film director, Mahesh Bhatt, is locking many headlines these days because of his much-awaited upcoming film ‘Jism 2’, as it will feature a world-class porn star Sunny Leone in the lead role.

The shooting for ‘Jism 2’, which will feature Leone as the female lead and Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh as the male leads, starts in Jaipur next month and since the movie is an erotic thriller, many questions are being asked from Bhatt.

Though Bhatt didn’t reveal much, he said that ‘Jism 2’, apart from being an erotic thriller, is also a story of a girl’s journey to unimaginable heights. The director further added that the audiences always like watching erotic thrillers and there is nothing wrong in making them.

“The shooting is starting from April 1, after which it will be shot in foreign locations, and also in Delhi,” revealed the film’s producer Mahesh Bhatt.

“Erotica thriller has a big potential on box office, and the success of movies like the Murder series and Jism has proved it,” said the 63-year-old film-maker.

“Sex is an important component in every industry now. Look at the promotion of any product. It is incomplete without a beautiful face. Film industry is not different in a way,” he added.

In the meantime, Bhatt also defended his upcoming flick, ‘Blood Money’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on March 30.

There are a lot of noises in the air about the movie, as many believe it is a copy of a Hollywood movie ‘Blood Diamond’. However, Bhatt says that the movie has been copied at all.

“The film has nothing to do with any Hollywood movie. The treatment is completely different from Blood diamond,” he said.

‘Blood Money’, which has been directed by Vishal Mahadkar, will feature Kunal Khemu and Amrita Puri in the lead roles.

Well, Bhatts have certainly provided the nation with some excellent erotic thriller till date yet people are expecting a lot from ‘Jism 2’.
