Next studio album will be our best record, says Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie, an American musician, filmmaker, screenwriter and film producer, has revealed that his next studio album will be their best record. The new album will follow-up his ‘Hellbilly Deluxe 2’ that was released in 2010.

“It has been way, and I mean way too long without any new music. I am dying to get back to it. I have not felt this much excitement within the band since recording the first ‘Hellbilly Deluxe’ record almost 15 years ago. We have been working on tons of songs
for quite some time and I can safely say this will definitely be our best record yet”, Zombie stated.

Although no release date has been set for the new album, the band will be hitting the studio in the first week of June, as Zombie is currently busy finishing his latest movie, The Lords of Salem.

The Lords of Salem, which is written and directed by Zombie, could be out in theatres by the end of the year. The movie centres around a 300-year old coven of witches that return to terrorize modern day Salem, Mass. ‘The Lords of Salem’ is currently in post-production.

However, the fans will be seeing Zombie on the road in a co-headlining tour with Megadeth, which will commence in May in Holmdel, N.J.

“This tour should be a blast. I haven’t shared a bill with Megadeth since way back in the early days of White Zombie, so this trek is long overdue”, Zombie concluded.
