What will Apple do this year – Part 1
Friday, March 30th, 2012 3:21:19 by Usman KhalidApple is always surrounded by rumours and the great thing about it is that the company is always unpredictable. They make money on this nature of theirs. Sometimes they come up with underwhelming things but other times their products are out-of-this-world that keep the audience at the edge of their seats, when it is announced, and astonished throughout the time a successor comes over to take the charge.
Although it is pointless to read the unpredictable mindset of late Steve Jobs, it is a total fun discussing what Apple might bring to the table.
Last year was not as satisfactory for Apple followers in terms of iPhone. Many were of the opinion that the company will bring a completely overhauled phone set that will supersede the previous one. However, the new iPhone 4S was a mere upgrade to last year’s.
It had a mesmerising camera with a wider aperture and five lenses to take the already-one-of-the-best cameras up a notch in quality. Its major selling point was the virtual assistant named Siri that works in places where the user does not want to go or is unable to probe while working on something else. Although this tech has been tested previously in laptops and other mobile devices, it was never so interactive and precise.
2010 brought the iPhone 4 that was a major overhaul to the original handheld. There was Retina Display, faster processor, an HD camera (720p) and many other things. This new 4S took the trending predecessor up a notch with Siri, Camera, iCloud and whatnot. But there is still room for improvements to it.
