Imran Zahid says he is excited and nervous about ‘Jism 2’
Saturday, March 31st, 2012 5:10:23 by Imran Shaukat KhanSmall time Bollywood actor, Imran Zahid, who not too long ago locked many headlines in the country for bagging the lead role in Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt’s now-delayed film ‘Chandu’, has insisted that his dream is finally coming true with ‘Jism 2’, which is a sequel to the 2003 hit film ‘Jism’.
The 30-year-old, who acted in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘The Last Salute’, told the media that he is excited but nervous about the film because of the fact that the people are expecting a lot from the movie.
“I play a narcotics detective in ‘Jism 2’. I am looking forward to starting work on it. There’s excitement and nervousness,” Imran told IANS.
“As a youngster, I watched (Mahesh) Bhatt saab’s films. I am a small town boy. I am from Bokaro. For me, it’s a big thing to work with someone like him and Pooja, whose ‘Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin’ I watched as a youngster.
“Bhatt saab is like a godfather, and I am really looking forward to ‘Jism 2’,” he added.
“We will start the film soon. We have a closure now, so the required changes will be made in the script. When and where we will shoot for the movie will all be planned by Bhatt saab in a few days perhaps,” he said.
‘Jism 2’ is one of the most eagerly awaited films of this year and the main reason behind the film’s enormous hype is obviously the presence of the Indo-Canadian porn star, Sunny Leone, who rose to fame during her stint in the Bigg Boss house.
Meanwhile, the likes of Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh will be featured as the male leads in the movie.
The original film ‘Jism’, which starred Bipasha Basu and John Abraham in the lead role, did an excellent business at the Box Office but let’s see if ‘Jism 2’ overshadows the original movie.
