Osama Bin laden was killed by American forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan back on May 1st, 2011. His departure left a number of unresolved issues including his wife and children.
Laden’s family resided in Pakistan after his departure from the face of the earth and has now been charged for staying in the country without the proper permission from the Government of Pakistan.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has informed the judges that the stay of the former Al-Qaeda leader’s family was illegal in the country.
The family has now been given a 45-day imprisonment along with a fine of PKR 10,000 each as ordered by the Senior Civil Judge Shahrukh Arjumand.
Muhammad Amir is the taking care of the legal matters for Bin Laden’s three widows and two daughters.
Mr. Amir briefed to court that the imprisonment period begins right from the day the family was arrested on March 3rd, 2012.
Bin Laden’s compound has now been declared a “sub jail” where the family will spend the remaining imprisonment.
Amir briefed to reporters outside the compound “The interior secretary has been directed to arrange their deportation”.
He further added, “I think it will be completed probably in two weeks”.
“The court has also given direction to the government to arrange the necessary documents for their earliest repatriation, so that they can go to their own country as soon as possible”.
The officials have interviewed the family members to investigate on the entrance of Osama Bin Laden’s undetected entry within the borders the Pakistan.
