Mumbai Indians kick-start IPL season five with a win over Chennai

Winning the toss and electing to field first, Mumbai restricted the defending champions to 112 in
19.5 overs.
Only Suresh Raina managed to score 36 of 26 balls while the rest did not even got past 20. Dwayne Bravo 19, Maurali Vijay and Subramaniam Badrinath 10 each were the other players to enter the double figures.
Lasith Malinga, Pragyan Ojha and Keiron Pollard picked up two wickets each while James Franklin picked up the other wicket. Three batsman got run-out as CSK innings folded for 112.
In reply, Richard Levi and Sachin Tendulkar got the home side off to a fiery start before the little master was forced to retire-hurt when he was looking comfortable on 16. However, Levi continued to dominate the Chennai attack and smacked his 50 off 34
balls. He was out on the next ball of the bowling of Bravo. His innings included six fours and three sixes.
Rohit Sharma filed to trickle the scorers and was caught behind by Dhoni of Doug Bollinger. Ambati Rayudu and Franklin sealed the honours for the Champions League winners with 18 and 25 not-out respectively.
Bollinger and Bravo picked up a wicket each as Super Kings slumped to an eight-wicket loss. Richard Levi was declared the Man of the Match. Mumbai will next play Sahara Pune Warriors on April 6 while Super Kings will take on Deccan Chargers on April 7.
