However, the lack of fastest speeds and camera quality do make room for HTC Titan II to capture market share with Windows Phone OS. The Titan II was released on the same day as Lumia 900.
The Lumia 900 has a rated talk time of 7 hours over 3G, with 12.5 days of 3G standby time on its 1,830mAh battery. Battery drain tests show the talk time on the Lumia 900 lasts just shy of 7 hours. Nokia also calculated 60 hours of music playback time and 6.5 hours of video playback time.
The final thoughts on the Lumia 900 are that the smartphone does have the guts to make a mark in the US market. However, the lack of multi-core processor and a somehow inconsistent camera, the phone might lack the oomph to recapture Nokia’s lost share.
Moreover, the iOS is known for security and efficiency, whereas the Android is so customizable and can be enhanced to the user’s own choice that they might find it hard to shift to an efficient yet very simple software.
Another aspect in this regard is application pool that is iOS and Android’s forte. Microsoft will have to weave a close net with developers to create insane amount of software to compete with Apple and Google on this particular front.
That being said, the Lumia 900 is the best Windows Phone choice for those who want to migrate from iOS or Android or are new to the smartphone concept.
