Jim Carrey will feature in "The dumb and the dumbest 2"

The comedy "Dumb and Dumber" (The dumb and dumber) (1994), one of the work that launched the careers of Jim Carrey, a second part will start again with the role of comedian and fellow Canadian the first instalment, Jeff Daniels.

Filming will begin in September under the direction of the Farrelly brothers, creators of the original film, now includes the online edition of the magazine Entertainment Weekly. "This is the first sequel that we’re shooting and Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels
back," said the filmmakers Peter and Bobby Farrelly.

The first news about this project took place last summer, when Carrey admitted that their participation was negotiating with the directors. In October it was reported that Sean Anders and John Morris is in charge of the script of the film.

"Dumb and dumber" had a prequel in 2003, shot on a different computer than the original. Peter Farrelly said, "We did not do that movie. Was a thing of the study? Always wanted to shoot a second part and finally Jim phoned us. Jeff always wanted to do it,
like us, but Jim was busy. So he called and said, we to do this again!”

The director said that Carrey had seen the original film back and saw that a sequel would be "perfect." In 1994, Carrey also released "The Mask" and "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective".
