How to clean up your mobile device – Increasing the performance of smartphones and tablets – Part 1

In one way or the other every electronic device gets worked up with the extra burden put on it and sole sinner in this matter is the user him-/herself. Every user has the tendency to install new and attractive software in his/her mobile device and after sometime he/she gets fed up with its application and it remains there unattended like the doll under the bed that has been there since your childhood days.

However, at some point every user feels the need to clean up the device in use because the smartphones and tablets all have one thing in common, limited storage capacity. Especially in the case of iOS devices there is a serious shortage of space since they do not boast external memory cards.

There are a number of ways by which you can clean up your mobile device by uninstalling unwanted apps and fixing up the settings in a more energy-efficient manner.

Uninstalling the software is one way of lightening up your device. In the iOS devices, especially in the iOS 4 and 5 versions  where Apple has introduced folder features, there are greater chances of those applications that are not needed anymore.

For this purpose, first of all, take some time to clean up your devices as they are a part of your daily life now. The efficiency will only come when you take interest in cleaning up the device for a change instead of slaving it for your own benefit.

Go through all the folders and apps in the slides on the home screen. Debate on whether they are in continuous use, occasional use or one-time usage. You will be overwhelmed by the answers you will receive from your own self, which is No by the way.
