Muhammad Asif and Sultan Mohammad to represent Pakistan in 2012 Asian Snooker Championship
Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 9:49:30 by Zeeshan GoharPakistan Billiards and Snooker Association will be featuring the National Snooker Champion and National Number one Muhammad Asif and Sultan Mohammad to represent the country in the upcoming 2012 Asian Snooker Championship. Both cuemen are in good shape and are hoping for a strong run in the championship.
Both Asif and Sultan were selected on the basis of their performance in the 37th National Snooker Championship at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi. Asif defeated Sultan Mohammad in the final to lift the national title and booked his place in the squad for the Asian Snooker Championship.
Both cueists will be accompanied by three officials that include manager Munawwar Shaikh, delegate Alamgir Shaikh and the referee Shabbir Hussain Daruwala. The championship will be a huge showdoen as 40 potters from 25 Asian countries will be battling for the ultimate goal. The 2012 Asian Snooker Championship will be held in Doha, Qatar from April 20 to 28.

April 21: Mohammad Asif (Pakistan) vs Aditya Mehta (India)
April 22: Sultan Muhammad (Pakistan) vs Malik Jadallah (Palestine), Mohammad Asif (Pakistan) vs Karam Fatima (Syria)
April 23: Sultan Muhammad (Pakistan) vs Rouzi Maimaiti (China), Mohammad Asif (Pakistan) vs Liu Hao Wei (Taipei)
April 24: Sultan Muhammad (Pakistan) vs Pankaj Advani (India), Muhammad Asif (Pakistan) vs Mubarak Alowais (Kuwait)
April 25: Sultan Muhammad (Pakistan) vs Ebrahim Alsharrah (Kuwait)
April 26: Mohammad Asif (Pakistan) vs in Bashar Abdulmajid (Qatar) Sultan Muhammad (Pakistan) vs Mohsin Khamis Abdulrehman (Qatar).
