Leaders of Pakistan and the condition of general masses

The present culture in the political arena of Pakistan and the role of media to put more emphasis on what the so-called representatives of different parties say have pushed people in a state of confusion, disappointment and frustration.

Leaders of the country are miles away from understanding the problems and needs of common man. Instead of doing this, they are escalating their problems by their bad policies.

Media is playing the central role in its talk shows and political characters beautifully present that their party is doing very well and blame other parties for doing all wrong things.

The officials of government blames opposition and the leaders of the opposition accuse the corruption of ruling party and this dirty politics is going on and on.

Paradoxically, people arrange protests against the bad language used by a leader of one party for the president of Pakistan, but never do that for stopping the target killing, suicides and the terrorism.

Likewise, some party leaders always exaggerate the steps they have taken for the welfare of the people of Punjab, but where is the prosperity? Are people happy in Punjab? The flood victims are still living as animals without having homes.

The condition of roads in the Southern Punjab reveals the performance of Punjab government.

It seems that Lahore is the only priority for the government of Punjab and by doing developmental work in Lahore city; they assume that everything is fine in the whole province.

General masses do not have any concern of what political artist say on political talk shows, which are being conducted by media only to get better ranking and generate revenue.

No programmes are out there which address the problems of a layman living in a village which is just 50 kilometres away from a big city. The same situation exists in the whole country.

Common people want employment, electricity, and availability of basic amenities of life on affordable prices, education, justice, rights and many other basic things.

Nevertheless, as a result of the indifference of the rulers, all he is getting at the moment is unemployment, discrimination, starvation, illiteracy and many other things.

Officials say that this year the economy of Pakistan has become better as compared to the precious year. But the condition of the common people has become much worst as compared to the previous year.

What a layman has got to do with the economic growth when he has is being forced to live a life which is no more than the life of an animal.

The so-called Political talk shows, a great source of entertainment for the so-called intellectual elite, but is actually a worthless for a common man as the real issues will never be discussed in these artificial talk shows.

Purpose of these talk shows is to get higher ratings among competitors and to generate as much revenue from commercial ads as possible.

Masses now demand politicians and media to think, and think wise in the best interest of nation.

People want political leaders to perform their role in the nation building rather than point scoring or getting high ratings.

Address the issues of a layman and bring forth the solutions of their problems to make them happy and prosperous citizens of Pakistan.
