Expressing annoyance over the attitude of Ministry of Narcotics Control Secretary Zafar Abbas Luk, the Supreme Court on Friday deemed invalid his directives to stop the prosecutors’ funds.

A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court with Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in the chair resumed the hearing of chemical quota allotment case. Ali Musa Gilani, the son of Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, however, failed to appear before the court.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said stoppage of funds was done to create obstacles in the investigation, adding the secretary was the reason why the probe was not transparent.

Holding him responsible for problems associated with it, adding that he was not going to let people get defamed just because their names were in the list, he added.

Ministry of Narcotics Control Secretary Zafar Abbas Luk rejected the allegations leveled against him, saying the ANF officials are disloyal and lying in the case. He blamed them for not following the rules and orders of the institutions.

The Secretary averred the Anti-Narcotics Force traps people by hiding heroine in their luggage or vehicle and they could do the same with primer in future.

Upon which, Justice Khilji Airf remarked that thousands of other cases were also fake and those officials should be put behind the bars.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry reprimanded the secretary on occasion when he should rude behavior, saying he could be jailed over his attitude.

Earlier, the ANF submitted its investigation report to the court, naming the premier’s son as an accused in the illegal chemical quota allotment case.

ANF’s Regional Director (Rawalpindi) Brig. Faheem Ahmed Khan in his 23-page investigation report told the bench of eight suspects in the case including Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s principal secretary Khushnood Akhtar Lashari and Ministry of Narcotics Control Secretary Zafar Abbas Luk.

National Assembly member Mian Abdus Sattar and his colleague, Anjum Shah, Drug Controller Sheikh Ansar and Deputy Drug Controller, Abdus Sattar Suhrani were among the other suspects.

The International Narcotics Control Board (INCB), an international body monitoring the implementation of the United Nations’ (UN) drug control conventions, permits Pakistan to import a total of 22,000kg of Ephedrine a year – a limit it exceeded by nine tonnes when the devolved ministry of health allocated 30909.55kg in 2010.

What a dilemma in Islami Jamhuria Pakistan, the President is involved in money swindling and the Prime-minister is selling heroin through his one son, as well as plundered the hajis through the other son.
This all being done under cover of Democracy, the biggest Zionist fraud of 20th Century. Democracy and its Jahil, Jaali, Jamhuras are flourishing on blood of Pakistan and Pakistani people. Whole of this looted money is being transferred to Jews Banks.
They have not only humiliated themselves internationally, but have mutilated the face of Pakistan and Pakistanis all over the world.
This Zardari is a cancer ki bimari and Jilani is a badrooh shaitani, both of them should be cut into pieces alive.

SECRETARY ANF has correctly been admonished by the SC. He is the main hurdle in fair investigation of the ephedrine case. He is a grade 21 Police officer given the portfolio of Secretary. A senior police officer of grade 21, IG pervaiz Akhtar Awan is ANF Dy DG, under a Secretary junior to him. While appointing him ,all norms of merit have been violated. ANF has a recognition worldwide, but the secretary Zafar luk is all out to save the son of premier at the cost of institution. He has no shame.
