Michael Jackson
The King of Pop tragically died in 2009 at the young age of 50. If he were around today, he’d be the only 53-year-old man that could look cool doing the moon walk.
Kurt Cobain
The lead singer and guitarist of Nirvana would be 45 today. Cobain, a leader in the grunge movement, was a icon for “Gen X.” The musician committed suicide in 1994 at the age of 27. He was married to Courtney Love at the time, and the celebrity couple had
a baby daughter. Since his death, the influential rock star has been regarded as one of the greatest musicians of his generation.
Johnny Cash
The man in black is one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. He was born in 1932 and achieved stardom by the age of 30.
He was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease in 1997, and died six years later at the age of 71. If he were alive today, he would be 80.
Though he passed on in 1977, “the King” endures as a music and pop culture icon. The musician and actor is widely believed to have died of a drug overdose when he was 42, though some say it was simply a heart attack. If he were alive today, he would be 77.
Jim Morrison
The Doors’ legendary frontman, considered to be one of the most charismatic frontmen in rock history, would be 70 today. The poet of the psychedelic rock scene passed away in aris n 1971. 27 year old Morrison was found in a bathtub, dead of a drug overdose.
Freddie Mercury
The flamboyant lead singer of Queen would be 65 today. Mercury was 45 when he passed away of complications from AIDS.
Jeff Buckley
The son of musician Tim Buckley, the alt rock singer-songwriter gained popularity in the 90s, when he released his only album, "Grace." Known best for his haunting cover of "Hallelujah," Buckley would be 45 today. He drowned in Tennessee’s Wolf River in
1997 at the age of 30.
Grace Kelly
The gorgeous actress-turned-princess was an American icon in the ’50s with movies like Hitchcock’s "Rear Window" and "On the Waterfront."
In April of 1956, Grace Kelly became the Princess of Monaco after marrying Prince Rainier III of Monaco.
In 1982, when she was only 51 years old, Kelly suffered a stroke while driving and drove off a cliff. Miraculously still alive after the wreck, she died the following day.
If she were alive today, she’d be 82.
