Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 6:40:51 by Shahrukh SohailThe Green-Shirts stooped to their second consecutive win after beating Thai Premier League side Ostopsa 4-1.
Zavisa Milosavljevic has clearly been able to work his magic after guiding the youngsters to yet another impressive victory, which is even more remarkable given that they had to recover from 1-0 down.
Mohammad bin Younis, Kaleemullah, France-based Malik Mohammad Human and Zakir Lashari were Pakistan’s heroes on the night and the tactician piled on praise on his troops after the scintillating win.
“The team played a good game and I am happy with the boys’ effort. The players have made a remarkable improvement in the defence and finishing. Although we failed to avail ourselves of most of the chances due to aggressive display and quick finishing but
overall I am satisfied with the team’s performance,” the Serbian said.
“All the players are fit and the team is in high rhythm and hopefully the tour will help us build a strong unit for the Asian Cup Qualifiers.”
“It’s a good feeling that we’ve won a match on the tour. We would’ve loved to play against their national side too,” added assistant coach Nasir Ismail.
