Smartphone Rumours: Galaxy S III expect to show up on May 3, Motorola’s Razr HD in the making – Part 1
Tuesday, April 24th, 2012 4:32:54 by Usman KhalidThe world of smartphone technology is ever evolving and the expression ‘change is the only constant’ fits right in the context of tech development. This week was no different from the rest. Every company across the board has been developing new technology, or bringing innovation to the existing ones. From Korea to the US, every company has a smartphone in the making or to be launched soon.
Following are the rumours that have built around some of the smartphone manufacturers or their flagship products.
Samsung teases the public with upcoming Galaxy S smartphone
In the recent news, Samsung released a countdown timer on Facebook and Twitter that goes off at Noon in London time zone, the venue for Samsung’s event on May 3, where allegedly the Korean company is set to release the successor to Galaxy S II.
Although Samsung has not yet released any statement on whether they are releasing Galaxy S III, or any other name of choice for the successor, all signs beef up the speculation that S III is just around the corner.
Moreover, a graphics card performance result popped up briefly in GLBenchmark’s results page to confirm that the S III is about to astonish the world with a mesmerising GPU. Although the performance chart was on the webpage for a very brief moment, it surely showed the performance of GPU against the likes of SII, iPhone 4S, iPad 3 (the new iPad), HTC One S and HTC One X. The S III was named Samsung GT-I9300, which surely gives out the hint that it is S III.
The S III’s GPU rallied past iPhone 4S, HTC series and its own sibling S II with a flash of light. The performance margin between them is in miles.
