The service is free for use until the life of the tablet. The cloud service also offers direct access to user-owned PCs and Macs and @Vibe online music and radio service.
The File Manager lets you directly access the root directory and manage files and folders from internal and extended storage on the device. MyNet offers free streaming services on all DLNA-enabled devices on your network. In addition, MyLibrary offers Asus’ e-reader service and a vast book bank.
The SuperNote is a pre-loaded application on which the user can take notes both by typing and writing with fingers; it might prove to be a great feature for students. An auxiliary feature of the app is its drawing board.
The App Backup can keep the track of all of your applications that have been installed and all the data inside them. The application stores the backup of your apps automatically and should the user choose to reset the device, the application will automatically restore the data and status inside the software.
Moreover, Asus offer the trending Polaris office suite, that approximates Microsoft Office files in Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
The most astounding feature of the new tablet and the Prime is the controllable CPU power according to the need. Though it incorporates four cores, one or all of them can be used where needs be. The Pad TF300 has three modes to choose from, Normal, Balance and Power Saver. The normal mode uses all four, whereas the Balance mode selects the number of cores according to the need and Power Saver only uses one or two cores to save the battery.
