However, colour contrast is aptly selected to suit the 16M colours. The screen gives the standard Tegra-based 60 frames per second rate.

The camera in the front is ample to have a video chat, but unfortunately nothing more can be expected from it. The rear camera, on the flip side—literally, is an 8-mega pixel snapper that can easily take 1080p video.

Still photography is still behind the iPad, which boasts more colours and less saturation with more focus on the details. The videos however, were better in 1080p videos but the lack of anti-shock mechanism in the iPad was direly missed. The Transformer Pad was better in camera quality from the Transformer Prime in every request. The hardware is the same in both and it is expected that the Prime will receive the firmware in the coming summers.

Downloads, on a standard closed WiFi connection, were noted at a faster rate than the Prime, primarily because of the plastic body in place of a metallic structure. However, it still could not match the download time on the new iPad.

The operating system is almost stutter-free with quick and more responsive menus. The touch screen is almost iPad-like sensitive, which is a welcome feature for a non-Apple device.
