Kelly Rowland X-Factor return doubtful

The American singer’s return looks highly unlikely next season as reports suggest that the former Destiny’s Child singer could be replaced in the next instalment of the show.

If rumours are to be believed, Kelly wants 1.5 million pounds for a season which could be the main problem. It is also said that the singer failed to make the desired impact on the show as many had expected from her.

Although there are still chances that the singer may return for the next season but they are very slim at the moment.

“There’s a chance she could come back, but it looks increasingly slim. Money demands are not the main factor. Kelly didn’t connect with the audience as well as people hoped,” a source revealed.

An insider confirmed that Simon Cowell wants the American singer to return to the show in the next season and he has revealed that in a recent interview to The Sun also. There have been numerous reports that ‘The Voice’ judge Jessie J may replace Rowland but the speculation has also been denied.

“Simon has even said he wants her back on several occasions, including in The Sun this week. If they want to make her a serious offer then they will have to do just that – make her a serious offer,” the source continued.

A source from Simon Cowell’s camp also claimed that Kelly’s return would be great for the show as she brought uniqueness with her.

“Yes, we would love to see Kelly back as she was good and people liked her. But we are never held to ransom over these things. We never negotiate a deal based on what another member of the show is getting as that would be ludicrous,” the source concluded.

The X Factor’s new season will begin in October later this year.
