This article is a continuation of ‘Human Cannibalism – Part 3’.

The basic principle underpinning the Guarani cannibalism was that the person collects energy throughout its existence, and that energy can be used by another person to expand consciousness. The vital objective of the Guarani was to transcend the limits of
everyday existence accessing what they called "The Land Without Evil", a vital condition where a person was beyond the injury and even death (as suppression of the physical layer stock). In this context, consume a person’s personality and his physical body
first then give the practitioner an increase in energy unobtainable by other means. Hence, the Guarani did not eat anyone, but only the best. Cannibalism was part of the Way of Perfection or Aguyé.

In 1779, 14 February at Kealakekua Bay in Hawaii, the Commander (Master and Commander) of the British naval expedition James Cook and some of his men were killed and eaten (although there is still controversy about the certainty this fact) by the local population
after a failed attempt to kidnap their king, in retaliation for the theft of the natives. The remaining residues were then retrieved and made them a burial at sea.

In Chile, during the Spanish conquest in the context of the War of Arauco, the Mapuche practiced cannibalism, first with their male Spanish prisoners among themselves and then following the famine between 1554-1556, in the Lautaro period.

In 1809, the 66 passengers and crew of the ship The Boyd were killed and eaten by Maori on the Whangaroa peninsula in the North Island. This was a "utu" (revenge) by flogging with a whip Maori who refused to work on the boat during the trip from Australia.
The fact permance as the biggest massacre in the history of New Zealand. See Boyd massacre in the English wikipedia.
