AT&T sprites the device with its own selection of apps, such as U-verse Live TV, which serves up both live programming and full TV episodes and movies over 4G network, a bar code scanner, and FamilyMap for locating family members.
HTC device are known for integrating social media networking platforms with the phonebook and One X is no exception. Sense 4.0 boasts all popular social networking applications with the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Google+. In addition, there is single platform, Friend Stream that integrates all of these said apps and even suggests the user if it finds a common link between the application-based and phonebook contacts.
One X comes with Beats Audio processing feature which revamps the sound system of the device, especially when compatible Beas Audio branded headset or headphones are connected. HTC has always assembled the best sound system in its devices but Beats takes that up a notch. However, like One S, this smartphone comes with a slight problem as well.
Beats activates its signature pre-devised equalizer when headphones from the same brand are connected, but the sound schema only increases the bass to extreme levels bypassing the mids and the highs of the normal equalizer.
This may boost those tunes that centre around heavy bass but for normal genres it is an utter failure as the treble is subdued. Tech experts are of a unified opinion that Beats signature equalizer is an extra and inflicts a dent on an impressive stereo system.
