Kamaal R Khan: I am not afraid of anybody or anything
Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 11:48:29 by Imran Shaukat KhanThe self-claimed Indian actor, Kamaal R Khan, has always locked headlines for wrong reasons in the country and the main reason behind is obviously his Twitter account, on which he never shies away from rubble rousing.
The Deshdrohi actor, more commonly known as KRK, openly disrespects Bollywood’s A-listers and sends kisses to actresses like Asin every day as a result to which many out there don’t like him at all. However, it is something which hardly matters for KRK as he thinks everyone is allowed to have fun on Twitter.
“Kamaal Khan is not afraid of anybody or anything, and he does not care what people will think of his tweets,” he says during a phone interview from Dubai.
KRK insisted that he sets himself a daily target of getting retweeted at least 50 times.
“Do you know how much research goes into being your so-called ‘controversial’? Every day I have to think up things to tweet that will get heavily retweeted,” he says tongue-in-cheek.
In the end KRK, now 37, stated that Bollywood biggies think a lot before tweeting something because they have much on stake but he has no such fears so he can have fun.
He said, “The well known Bollywood stars put a lot of thought behind their tweets, because they have so much at stake. I have nothing to lose. And besides, mujhe kaunsi Twitter se shaadi karni hai? (I don’t have to marry Twitter) I say something provocative and then sit back and laugh as the hate pours in, when I see people take my tweets so seriously. Seriously, everywhere else people are bitching and cribbing, what’s the point if you are not allowed to have some fun on Twitter?”
Kamaal Rashid Khan has almost 46,000 followers on Twitter and he asks them for Rs 200 per retweet and posts details of what he claims is a bank account where people can deposit the money.
