Ghanwa Bhutto hints contesting election from Liyari

Chairperson of PPP (Shaheed Bhutto) Ghanwa Bhutto said that she has intention to contest election from Liyari but the final decision would be taken by her party in this regard.
She was speaking a press conference at here residence, 70 Clifton Karachi on Saturday. She said that that Bilawal is a child and she has good wishes for him, but if he would support the prevailing system, she would oppose him.
Responding a question she said that the situation of the country is not as good as Zulfiqar Bhutto (Junior) or Fatima Bhutto may take part in the elections. “I am not against the persons but my fight is in opposition to the system”, she added.
Replying another question regarding merger of Sindh National Front into PML (N), she said that it is the personal decision of Mumtaz Bhutto but her party sticks with its previous stance.
“We can join the alliance with the party only, which can establish law and order, economic stability, provincial autonomy and wipe out feudalism from the country. That can also has a courage to raise voice against American and Western interests”, she added.
Ghanwa demanded to finish the operation at Liyari by saying that it is a national issue and Zardari government has not ability to control the matter. The present rulers only believe in violence. The Liyari operation is beyond the thought. The so called gang war was developed by the some ministers and parliamentarians of the government. The rulers were getting their shares form the extortion money.
He said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto promised to make Liyari Paris of Pakistan, Benazir and Murtaza also tried to provide education, health and other basic amenities to the people of Lyari. But now ruling party has but PPP has forgotten its founder’s words.
She said that PPP-SB boycotted the elections during Musharraf’s regime against the condition of graduation. But her party would participate in the next elections with full vigor.
