Lahore: (Monday, May 07, 2012) Indian High Commissioner Sharat Sabharwal said here today that India was mulling over opening new land routes for Pakistan to give a boost to the bilateral trade.
Sabharwal said this while speaking at the second Aman Ki Asha Pakistan-India economic conference organized in Lahore. While adding further to his remarks, the Indian high commissioner thanked Pakistan for granting India Most Favoured
Nation (MFN) Status.
Sabharwal was of the view that if current pace of mutual economic relations continues, the trade between the two countries could easily reach $ 12 billion in next five years.
