Gifts to offer your mother on this year’s Mother’s Day – Part 1

It has been proven through several researches that the older generation may be slow adaptor of the fast electronic evolution but it ultimately is accepting it. Therefore, gone are the days when children could please their parents with gifts like cakes and books on occasions like Father’s Day and Mother’s Day.

According to a latest survey conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Ebates.com, mothers do not exactly like flowers and gift baskets on Mother’s Day. They rather would love to have something that is durable and more productive in the household. Now, do not confuse it with a microwave or a toaster, its electronic gadgets like tablets and smartphones.

There are many gadgets available in the market that children can buy for their mothers but instead of going for expensive ones, which might become complication instead of feasibility the less tech-savvy but savvy nonetheless, there are better options that may suffice the need and be in an affordable range.

It is never about the money but the cost paid should be better utilized instead of left to catch dust. In the light of these findings and limitations, the pool of options becomes narrower and narrower but thanks to companies like Amazon, there are certain devices that one can buy for a parent.

Following are some of the examples in this regard. These are low-cost yet they hold utilities of higher magnitude.

Apple TV/ Roku LT

There are undoubtedly a number of set-top boxes available in the market that offer vast range of television programming and connectivity to the internet. However, these devices are either expensive or too difficult to operate. This is a major pun, operability. Older people are slow to adopting change and electronic gadgets unfortunately lay at the bottom of the list but this particular generation is attracted to these devices at the same hand.
