Imran Khan to commence tsunami-march on May 27
Monday, May 7th, 2012 11:47:02 by Faisal FarooqChairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan warned that they would launch tsunami-march if the government did not respect the Supreme Court of Pakistan, joining the chorus seeking resignation from Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
The prime minister was convicted by the Supreme Court in a contempt of court case for denial to write a letter to the Swiss authorities to reopen graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
The cricketer-turned politician addressed a massive rally in the federal capital, threatening that the PTI would stage a decisive rally at Rawalpindi on May 27; the Gilani did not quit his posts willingly.
He observed, “Let’s stand by the judiciary and through street power force the government to implement the court’s order in the contempt of court case”.
Accusing the premier of protecting the money of a looter instead of saving the assets of people, Imran asked the president to shield the country rather than President Asif Ali Zardari. He elucidated that the corrupt clique would never accept an independent judiciary.
Censuring the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the former captain urged upon Nawaz Sharif to act like a real lion rather than a fake one and asked his party to quit parliament.
He condemned the parliamentary resolution in support of Gilani, saying it was a shame that a legislative assembly was undermining the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
He remarked, “The resolution was passed in favor of Gilani who is protecting the corrupt. The government knows if the Swiss cases are reopened, their corruption will be exposed”.
Giving logic to his arguments, Imran Khan said parliament had been failed in implementing its rulings. He highlighted how the US unmanned aircrafts had already undermined Pakistani parliament by continuing its operations inside the Tribal areas.
PTI President Javed Hashmi while addressing the rally said that the apex court was the face of Pakistan, adding that the entire country would be rebel it decisions of the judiciary are not accepted.
PTI Vice President Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the government was letting down the Supreme Court in an attempt to dent its independence. He observed, “It’s time to save Pakistan, not the chair of the prime minister”.

Why did not he create a single leader in 20 years that he is in politics?Fraud, hypocrisy at their best.
Hashmi, Qureshi, Qasuri, Laghari, Timmans and Hotis are turncoats who came from other parties. This is the future or PTI whether you admit or not.
Excuse me??? Jasmine He is the most educated out of all the politicians! What was so uncivilzed about him? If PPP and PML-N were civilized then Pakistan would have been civilized today. Which agencies are guiding him? And who on the earth would like to harm an already disintegrated party (PML-N)? Your statements are not making any sense! His main stance against PML-N is on the issue of corruption and he has the same against PPP. I can’t see any biasness there. He is working on the agenda of better Pakistan!
