Priyanka Chopra was not serious in ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ says Annu Kapoor

Bollywood’s diva and the former Miss World, Priyanka Chopra, is one of the leading actresses in the Indian filmmaking industry but it seems as if her career is on a constant down fall post her alleged link-up with Shah Rukh Khan. She remained under discussion after Karan Johar slammed her on his Twitter account and now veteran actor Annu Kapoor has said that the actress doesn’t take her work seriously at all.

Kapoor, who recently played a pivotal role in critically acclaimed film ‘Vicky Donor’ reckons that Chopra was not a thorough professional while doing the Vishal Bhardwaj’s film ‘7 Khoon Maaf’, which was released on February 18 last year.

Annu said, “I have been in the industry for 30 years and have worked with some big actors. But when I worked with Priyanka in 7 Khoon Maaf, I felt she didn’t take the role seriously.”

Well, Kapoor might have taken a dig at Priyanka, many out there are of the view that Kapoor is saying all this because Priyanka had refused to shoot intimate scenes with him in the film.

Responding to Kapoor’s allegations, Priyanka’s ex-publicist Dale Bhagwagar has said that Priyanka has contributed a lot thus far for the Bollywood industry and this could have never been possible without her hard work.

Bhagwagar tweeted, “Priyanka Chopra not being serious about acting sounds frivolous. Just look at the girl’s career graph. Andaaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitraaz, Bluffmaster!, Taxi No. Nau Do Gyarah, Krrish, Don, Fashion, Dostana, Kaminey, 7 Khoon Maaf, Don 2 and Agneepath – Brand Priyanka has contributed to more than a dozen hits in a decade; a pace, consistency and bankability unmatched by most of the other heroines in the industry.

Could this be possible if she wasn’t dedicated or passionate towards her work?(sic).”

The 29-year-old beauty Priyanka Chopra, also known as Piggy Chops, will now be seen on the big screen in ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on June 22.
