In recent news hovering in the media, Pegatron Corporation has landed at Cupertino for the new iPhone, which is touted to be slimmer and longer than the previous iPhones.
The Taiwanese company specializes in notebooks, tablets and smartphones and manufactures components and peripherals for major electronics manufacturers. It is rumoured that the sixth generation iPhone will have some mesmerizing features besides a new shape and design. The most talked about is its bigger 4-inch Retina Display touch screen that is an upgrade over previous 3.5-inch displays.
The new phone expected to be launched in September, in the same period when 2011 version of the smartphone, iPhone 4S was released. However, no specific dates have been released or leaked. There are rumours that the new iPhone may shore up in the June-set Worldwide Developer’s Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco.
