Britney Spears delighted to join ‘X Factor’ panel

The American singer has expressed his delight on joining the ‘X Factor’ for the next season. It was announced that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will be joining the panel with the likes of Simon Cowell and LA Reid.

The two singers will be replacing Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger on the show after the duo were reportedly sacked by Cowell when ratings slipped at the end of last season.

Spears claimed that she is excited to start her stint on the ‘X Factor’ next season. She admitted that it will be great when she joins Cowell and Reid on the show. She admitted that the show is her favourite and that she is honoured to be mentoring a group of singers.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel. I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and LA better watch out!” she stated.

On the other hand, Simon Cowell added that it will be great for the show as the likes of Spears and Lovato have joined the panel. He admitted that Britney is still a fan favourite and one the biggest stars of the country and is confident that the second season will be something to watch out for.

“I’m absolutely delighted Britney and Demi are joining us. Britney remains one of the biggest stars in the world, she’s talented, fascinating – and I believe she knows exactly how to spot The X Factor. The new panel will be dynamic and will work really well with the changes we are making to the show,” he concluded.

The X Factor US will return later this year with its live auditions.
