It was one of the best known black widows in the history of crime for its spectacular process.
Followed by all the people as if it were a soap opera judicial lasted almost ten years and ended in unpredictable ways. Davaillaud Philippine Marie Josephine, better known as Marie Besnard, born in France on August 15, 1896.
This woman was charged on July 21, 1949 for twelve arsenic murders, including that of her husband Auguste Antigny. He began to raise suspicions of the French authorities face when he began to inherit large sums of money from different people around who

His black clothes and bad manners reinforced their bad reputation among the neighbors who had it by a mysterious woman, cold and cruel, capable of killing his entire family.
Suspecting that the deaths had occurred in a strange way, local police ordered them to be exhumed all the bodies of the relatives of Marie in the cemeteries of Angles-sur-Anglin and Trois-Moutiers.
In early 1950, both judges and experts presented the same conclusions: in twelve of the bodies examined were found enough arsenic to consider the cause of death as poisoning.The bodies belonged to her first husband, his aunt, his
