Google set to make changes in their advertising policy

It has also announced that Brussels, which has filed a case since 2010, is investigating the Android operating system, owned by Google. If the company agrees and made ??the changes requested by the Commission, it will not prevent
them of getting away with a punishment that could result in a multimillion dollar penalty.
"I hope Google take the opportunity to quickly resolve our concerns," added the commissioner, who last week spoke with the president of the U.S. company, Eric Schmidt.
“Now it’s up to Google to correct the practices mentioned by Almunia this morning. The EU executive may accept them or not after the response. In the latter case, Brussels sent to search a statement of objections to the indictments
and advance to the imposition of a fine for abuse of dominant position.”
Specifically, the responsible community has accused the company of abusing its dominant position to use their own vertical services preferentially to the detriment of its competitors.
Second, the EC disapproves the way Google copy original material from the websites from their competitors, such as users’ opinions of hotels or restaurants, and use it on their own website without permission, reaping the benefits
that entails.
Brussels, also questioned the agreements between Google and their partners on pages where advertising displays related searches, which result in a tug-of-war between the potential competitors that are also offering advertising
services.
Finally, the EC believes that Google imposes restrictions on the portability of advertising campaigns related to online searches, since its platform to other platforms AdWords competitors.
