David Haye promises to teach Dereck Chisora a lesson
Monday, May 21st, 2012 4:52:35 by Imran Shaukat KhanFormer WBA heavyweight champion David Haye and former British heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora are the talk of the town right now since both archrivals will take on each other in the ring on July 14 at the West Ham’s Upton Park and Haye is fully geared up ahead of the clash.
The 31-year-old brash Londoner, more commonly known as the Hayemaker, has ramped up the war of words with Chisora by declaring that he will teach him a bitter lesson in the ring. Moreover, Haye insisted that after winning the bout he will dedicate his victory to all women who have been beaten by men.
He told the Daily Star: “If there’s an opportunity for Dereck to get within arms’ reach of me he will do something at the weigh-in or press conference.”
“I don’t know what logically goes on in his brain,” he said. “He’s not a nice guy and this fight will be dedicated to all the women who have been beaten – and people who have been bullied – by men like Dereck Chisora. This one goes out to them.”
Haye said that he has always respected his opponent but for Chisora he has no respect at all.
“I’ve always had respect for opponents as human beings, even though I don’t let them know it. But there’s nothing to like about this guy. He has no social graces and for me to say that – someone who is supposed to be a real bad guy, apparently, shows how bad he is.”
Haye and Chisora will fight for the WBO international and WBA inter-continental titles in a contest, which has not been sanctioned by the British Board of Control (BBBofC) yet a lot of people will flock to the arena to see because everyone knows a fight between these two will certainly be an explosive one.
