Samsung Series 7 Gamer (2012): At last the Korean manufacturer enters the gaming arena – Part 4
Friday, May 25th, 2012 6:56:00 by Usman KhalidVideo watching is another plus on the Gamer. The 1080p native resolution justifies every penny paid and offers a smooth and fully detailed picture quality. The sound is even better than others. The stereo speakers with a sub-woofer underneath them might not be at par with large surround systems but they shout with clear voice. Either you are playing games or watching movies, you will not miss out on the action with those babies.
Multimedia multi-tasking, Adobe graphics test and GPU-hungry games posted normal results but considering the cost, which is still less than most of its competitors in the market, it confirmed itself as a good bargain.
Do not expect a great battery timing though. The Series 7 Gamer runs out of battery on full time video playback in a little over couple of hours. Expect even less time on gaming. Moreover, it is not recommended to play games on DC. The notebook judders with performance dips that might affect the gaming experience.
Conclusion
Though Samsung Series 7 is priced high at around $1900 and has a bulky structure, it still offers good performance and better experience to the users. In addition, the device is less expensive than most of the gaming PCs out there and offers more juice than most of them.
If someone is looking for a good gaming PC or an all-rounder and can ignore the ugly looks, Series 7 Gamer is the one to purchase. It has all what a gamer wants or someone who works on graphics for a living.
